Counting Hours

As my bags are packed and the final loads of laundry tumble in the dryer, it seemed time to activate my blog. I intend to use this space as a avenue to keep in touch with the many family members and friends who I want to keep informed on my many adventures and secondly to have a space to digest the thoughts, experience, and critical questions of my trip.

I will inform all the wonderful people in my life of what I do know at this point. I am three days from venturing to the unique country of Thailand where I will spend the first month in the country training on various aspects of teaching and living in a foreign country. After orientation I will fly to my designated school where I will continue to teach until October of the following year.

I know more details on other aspects of my trip, but I will save some of that information as candy to sprinkle over the the next few weeks.
